Analysing My Diet

1. Milo

Milo, ready-to-drink (HCS)
Energy (kcal)150 kcal
Protein (g)4.25 g
Total fat (g)3.75 g
Saturated fat (g)1.75 g
Dietary fibre (g)1.25 g
Carbohydrate (g)23.75 g
Cholesterol (mg)1.88 mg
Sodium (mg)75 mg
I tend to drink Milo a lot, but never knew it had more fats than I imagined as I was always given the unwavering impression that it was quite healthy. However, now that I know that it is still a drink I should not have so many times a day, I will take caution of the number of packets I drink daily.

2. Coke

Soft drink, cola
Energy (kcal)132.63 kcal
Protein (g)NA
Total fat (g)NA
Saturated fat (g)NA
Dietary fibre (g)NA
Carbohydrate (g)34.65 g
Cholesterol (mg)NA
Sodium (mg)36.3 mg
I drink quite a lot of coke too, but never bothered to listen to people when they say that I should not be drinking this much, as I always had the mindset that drinking just one cup would not do much harm to me. However, now I know how bad it can make your teeth after hearing about experiments on teeth being soaked in coke for a day and coming out totally rotten.

3. Ramen

Ramen
Energy (kcal)355 kcal
Protein (g)10.25 g
Total fat (g)4.25 g
Saturated fat (g)2 g
Dietary fibre (g)3.25 g
Carbohydrate (g)69 g
Cholesterol (mg)NA
Sodium (mg)372.5 mg
I love ramen, and if I could I would eat it every single time I see a ramen restaurant, however I honestly there is more fat in it then I expected.I will make effort to limit myself with my intake of ramen noodles, now that I am more informed on it.

4. Subway Sandwich

6-inch Ham Sandwich, Subway
Energy (kcal)263.52 kcal
Protein (g)17.28 g
Total fat (g)4.6 g
Saturated fat (g)1.6 g
Dietary fibre (g)4 g
Carbohydrate (g)37 g
Cholesterol (mg)25.92 mg
Sodium (mg)1069.2 mg
I eat subway all the time, as it is healthier than places, such as MacDonald. Though, I did not know it contained that much fats or protein, I will try to eat it less often as although it has much protein, there is also a bit of fats.
